Essential Functions
- Aid attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from inception to post-trial.
- Maintain organized and accessible case-related materials, including client-presentable areas and case rooms.
- Manage the discovery process, prepare for depositions, and assist with expert discovery.
- Oversee document reviews and productions, track progress, and summarize findings.
- Perform analytical tasks, draft witness interview memos, and prepare legal documents.
- Conduct legal and factual research, assemble motion papers, and coordinate filings.
- Ensure compliance with procedural and evidentiary rules, perform cite-checking, and proofread documents.
- Support trial preparations, maintain trial notebooks, and organize exhibits.
- Prepare post-trial filings and organize cases for potential appeal.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
- Assist with other departmental activities as needed.

- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Handle tasks efficiently, prioritize work, and adapt to last-minute requests.
- Show knowledge of legal terminology and matters to ensure completeness of submitted forms.
- Display strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Show excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining courtesy and diplomacy.
- Think creatively and implement best practices.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.
- Occasional standing, walking, and movement within an office environment.
- May occasionally lift or move items up to ten pounds.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience required.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Work Hours
Core working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
