Job Description
Prepare and organize immigration case filings, including visa applications and petitions.
Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations.
Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents and correspondence.
Maintain accurate case records and track deadlines for filing and document submissions.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide case updates.
Assist with case strategy planning and provide administrative support for hearings or interviews.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all legal documentation and client information.
Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with employment-based immigration for a law firm.
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a paralegal certificate preferred.
- A strong understanding of immigration law and legal processes.
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
