Immigration Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file a broad range of employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions and applications, including temporary work visas, permanent residency matters, labor certifications, and investor-based immigration filings.
- Draft government forms, support documentation, correspondence, and petition packages in compliance with applicable immigration regulations and agency requirements.
- Collect, review, and organize supporting documentation from corporate clients and foreign nationals.
- Manage all aspects of assigned matters, ensuring timely preparation, filing, and follow-up.
- Communicate directly with clients, beneficiaries, and government agencies regarding case status and requirements.
- Monitor case deadlines and respond to government notices, requests for evidence, audits, and related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate case records, billable time entries, and matter updates within case management systems.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide responsive and efficient client service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of employment-based immigration paralegal experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong familiarity with a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories and permanent residency processes.
- Experience using legal case management platforms, document management systems, and client relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Exposure to investor-based immigration matters is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

- Bilingual language skills, particularly Spanish, are a plus.
