Mister Car Wash is the nation's largest and fastest-growing multibillion-dollar car wash company, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, with over 500 locations in 21 states. This mid-level Paralegal (Paralegal II) role provides broad legal support across multiple practice areas, including employment, corporate governance, commercial contracts, litigation support, and compliance. Working under the general supervision of attorneys, this position is ideal for a paralegal who has developed core legal skills and is ready to take on greater responsibility with increasing independence.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys and, with general supervision, manage many phases of legal matters and transactions across practice areas such as employment, corporate, commercial contracts, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and revise transactional and legal documents, including contracts, agreements, letters, forms, and templates, with limited attorney oversight on routine matters.
- Conduct due diligence tasks, including gathering, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing documents and records.
- Address routine legal issues across Mister locations, such as document updates, notice requirements, and correspondence, escalating complex questions to attorneys as needed.
- Prepare and maintain licensing status across stores, monitor deadlines, circulate deliverables, and provide status updates on licenses and registrations.
- Draft and maintain critical date abstracts and calendars for contracts and agreements, and assist with amendments and renewals.
- Organize, maintain, and archive legal files and records.
- Prepare summaries, binders, and post-matter documentation for internal teams.
- Perform research related to corporate records, contracts, regulatory requirements, and general legal questions, providing recommendations as requested.
- Support legal, compliance, and business teams by gathering information and preparing research summaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
- 2–4 years of legal or paralegal experience across one or more practice areas.
- Solid understanding of legal documentation and processes, with growing subject-matter depth.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and document management systems.
- Strong research, drafting, and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize under general supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.
