Paralegal - Business Litigation - Houston

About the role

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join the Business Litigation Practice Group in our Houston office. The successful candidate will support attorneys with a diverse caseload, including eminent domain and commercial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file pleadings
• Draft client correspondence
• Perform document review
• Assist with discovery
• Maintain a calendar of docket events and deadlines
• Assist in hearings and at trial
• Utilize presentation technology
• Work overtime when necessary

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and at least one of the following:

• 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm
• Paralegal Certificate
• Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal
