About the role

We are a 30-year boutique law firm in Torrance, in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, specializing in Probate, Will and Trust Estate litigation, and trust preparation. We are seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain correspondence, legal documents, legal pleadings, discovery, and legal research memoranda for attorneys. This role provides high-level paralegal support during all phases of litigation, from commencement of a new action through discovery, trial, and appeals. We work collaboratively to deliver high-quality client service and work product.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain correspondence and legal documents
• Draft and file legal pleadings
• Maintain discovery materials
• Prepare legal research memoranda for attorneys
• Provide high-level paralegal support during all phases of litigation, including trial and appeals
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure high-quality client service and work product

Requirements

• Experience as a paralegal, preferably in probate, will, trust, or estate litigation
• Strong organizational skills
• Reliability and ability to thrive in an organized environment
• Enjoyment of learning and helping others

Pay

$49,970 - $77,500 yearly
