About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to support business litigation matters for a legal team based in Ft Worth, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who can keep complex cases organized, manage competing deadlines, and contribute to high-quality legal work in a fast-moving environment. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on commercial disputes from initial case development through trial preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, from initial matter review through discovery, pretrial activity, and courtroom preparation
  • Prepare, revise, and finalize legal materials, including pleadings, subpoenas, written discovery, and detailed correspondence
  • Maintain well-organized case records by managing both electronic files and hard-copy documentation with accuracy and consistency
  • Oversee document collection and production efforts, using e-discovery tools and databases to track and organize case materials
  • Perform factual and legal research under attorney direction to help develop case strategy and support filings
  • Create deposition digests, case chronologies, exhibit sets, and trial notebooks to assist with hearings and trial readiness
  • Handle filing tasks in state and federal courts, including electronic submissions, while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
  • Monitor key litigation dates and maintain calendars so attorneys remain informed of upcoming obligations and procedural requirements
  • Communicate clearly with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel to coordinate case-related information and logistics
  • Provide on-site and remote support during depositions, hearings, and trials as needed

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience with a focus on civil or complex business litigation
  • Demonstrated background in discovery management, litigation documentation, and trial preparation
  • Proficiency with case management systems and e-filing platforms used in state and federal court matters
  • Working knowledge of litigation procedures, deadlines, and document handling requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing high-volume, deadline-driven assignments
  • Ability to conduct research, summarize findings, and support attorneys across multiple active cases
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
