Paralegal
About the role
This position provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to Omnicom’s legal team and assists attorneys with a broad range of matters including corporate, governance, compliance, contract, intellectual property, and litigation matters. This role will be based in our New York, NY office and requires regular in-office presence five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain corporate minute books, governance and legal entity records
- Aid with corporate transactions involving the formation, operation, and reorganization of legal entities
- Aid in the preparation, review, execution, and administration of commercial agreements
- Aid with litigation and related matters
- Manage legal department records and systems
- Support and coordinate engagements with outside counsel and other service providers
- Aid with intellectual property matters and the management of Omnicom’s intellectual property portfolio
- Work on special projects and strategic initiatives involving Omnicom’s legal team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage and appropriately prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent business judgement, strong business orientation, team player, self-motivated, and collaborative

Pay
$75,000 — $90.000 USD
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
A minimum of three days a week in the office, with the requirement increasing over time. Many of our agencies and Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
