Paralegal

Position

Paralegal, Public Records
Client: ISP
Duration: 7+ Months
Location: 100 N Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204
On-site, Monday through Friday, either 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paralegal certification with 2 years of paralegal experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and orally.
• Prior experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Prior experience with LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Prior experience conceptualizing and developing programs and procedures.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Paralegal competency certification from National Federation of Paralegal Associations or CLA/CP certification from National Assoc of Legal Assistants.
• Associate's degree (or higher) with Paralegal Studies with certification.

Background Check

Selected candidate will be required to pass a 5-panel drug screen and ISP background check, which may include credit record, financial record, educational record, criminal record, employment record, medical record, military record, or Selective Service record.
