Paralegal

About the role

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a leading debt collection law firm with offices located in multiple states. We are currently recruiting a Paralegal for our Lake Mary, FL office. This is a full-time, in-office, non-exempt position. Base schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in-office.

Responsibilities

• Assist FL attorneys and other litigation staff in facilitating and finalizing settlements of contested litigation matters involving debt defense counsel
• Submit offers from defense counsel to clients using preferred methods (i.e., email or upload into proprietary system)
• Identify and generate drafts of settlement documents
• Facilitate obtaining signatures from all parties
• Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate or associate's degree (preferred)
• Prior law firm experience (required)
• Basic knowledge of civil litigation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and legal management software (i.e., JST preferred)

Pay

Salary: $22–$26/hour, depending on experience.
