Responsibilities

  • Assist Legal Counsel in preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory compliance issues.
  • Manage and organize legal files, documents, and records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for legal matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial industry.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a financial institution or law firm.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers.

Schedule

This position follows a standard schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required to provide top-notch member service, but we value work-life balance and limit this as much as possible.
