About the role
The position is available in the Rapid City, SD office, with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Supports attorneys in civil litigation matters
- Organizes and maintains legal documents and files
- Coordinates with clients and opposing counsel
- Prepares legal documents and correspondence
- Manages calendars and schedules meetings
- Ensures compliance with firm policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience
- Paralegal certificate and/or degree preferred
- Excellent computer and document organization skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, iManage, iTimekeep, and other relevant software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Pays close attention to detail and can multitask effectively
- Prioritizes work for multiple attorneys
Qualifications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in legal research and document preparation
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
