Primary Responsibilities
- Promote and uphold the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Analyze and negotiate vendor contracts and agreements
- Research and ensure compliance with both state and federal regulations
- Provide advice under the guidance of Chief Legal Officer
- Assist Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Audit, Compliance, and BSA in supporting various matters, as needed
Requirements
- 2-5 years of legal or similar experience
- Previous financial institution experience is a plus
- Paralegal degree or equivalent, or working towards a Paralegal degree
- Notary certification, or willingness to become a Notary
- Ability to work off templates, including editing information
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Attention to detail and organization; process-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects across several departments
- Willingness to work on a broad variety of legal and corporate matters
- Commitment to professionalism and personal growth, with the ability to scale and grow with the organization

About the Role
The Paralegal works under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer to provide legal support for various departments. This role is transactional in nature and assists in vendor management, collecting and analyzing vendor due diligence, and the preparation and review of corporate contracts and research projects, as assigned.
