Responsibilities
- Interview new clients and perform comprehensive evaluations
- Actively review cases in pre-litigation
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, other staff members, etc.
- Evaluate cases, including determining potential for resolution and need for litigation
- Briefing and advising managing attorneys on case postures and outcomes
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions
- Administrative and other management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in personal injury practice is required!
- Familiarity with civil procedure (Virginia, Maryland, and/or DC)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- For bilingual candidates: must be fluent in English and Spanish (Amharic, Arabic, Farsi, etc)
