Pay
$22/hr to $25/hr W2 (potential to convert to full-time after 6 months).

Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of legal billing processes.
- Review and analyze legal invoices for adherence to guidelines and UTBMS task codes.
- Work independently and collaboratively to verify billing details and process adjustments.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in legal services or legal auditing environment.
- Paralegal Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in a legal-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in legal billing processes and familiarity with bill submission software.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and claims processes; multijurisdictional exposure preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and guidance within teams.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong initiative and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology and processes.
- Willingness to work hybrid in Wichita, Kansas and commit to timely, accurate invoice review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience verifying UTBMS task codes and billing guideline compliance.
- Knowledge of federal and state civil procedure rules.
- Ability to identify process improvements and technology needs.
- Prior exposure to legal cost analysis or legal vendor management.
- Prior experience working with legal invoice review and adjustments.
