Paraeducator- Recess/Traffic

About the role

Position: Paraeducator- Recess. Hours: 3.25 Hours (12:15 PM‑3:30 PM). Days per week: Monday‑Friday. Work calendar: 180 work days. Unit classification: PSEA.

Requirements

To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:

• A copy of their high school diploma
• AND documentation of one of the following:
• A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher
• OR 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100‑level and higher courses
• OR Official documentation of a passing score on a Washington State approved assessment*

Pay

Salary schedule: $27.02 starting pay – Para 1 (2026‑27 school year rates). For the complete salary schedule and collective bargaining agreement, visit the Human Resources website under “Resources”.
