About the role

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Paraeducator I - Teacher for the After School Program. This position involves planning and implementing learning and enrichment experiences for elementary age children in an extended day and vacation program. Responsibilities include providing physical care and safety for children, exercising lead supervision over assigned assistants, maintaining official documents and records, and performing related work as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License
• Possession of a valid Children’s Center Permit issued by the State of California; or possession of a current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with appropriate age level endorsement issued by CDS National Credentialing Program.
• Possession of valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Reading, math & writing test required; unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.
