Paraeducator

Para Educator position available at one of the following schools: Valley Regional High School, John Winthrop Middle School, Chester Elementary School, Deep River Elementary School, and/or Essex Elementary School.

About the role

Candidates should demonstrate an ability to collaborate in multiple educational settings, work with students with academic and behavioral needs, be flexible, maintain confidentiality, and show passion and enthusiasm for their assignment.

Experience working with a wide range of related service providers and support staff to meet the needs of diverse learners is preferred. Experience in Literacy, DTI, Math, behavior management, one-on-one, and inclusion is also preferred.

Requirements

• A passing score on the ParaPro certificate (457), or an Associate’s Degree, or 60 college credits
