About the role

Under the direction of an administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher and specialist, assist in the instructional support, behavioral support, personal care, and supervision of students with a wide range of disabilities. Provide intensive individualized services; participate in behavioral modification and management of students; assist students with and demonstrate proper physical care and hygienic needs; provide support with classroom organization, management, and safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Passing the Paraeducator Competency Examination
• One (1) year of experience working with special needs students

Testing Procedure

The examination process will consist of a written competency examination. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
