About the role
To assist the special education teacher in working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels commensurate with their capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supports the special education teacher in providing instruction and activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Assists in creating and implementing lesson plans and activities as directed by the special education teacher.
- Monitors student progress and communicates with teachers, parents, and other professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Pauline Central Primary & Pauline South Intermediate are Title 1 Schools.
- Title 1 Paraeducators must have one of the following:
- An Associate's Degree from an Accredited University
- A minimum of 48 College Credit Hours from an Accredited University
- Successful Completion of the Para Test
Qualifications
