About the role
The Paraeducator (Special Education) position is responsible for providing support to students with special education needs within the Everett Public Schools district.
Responsibilities
- Support students with health impairments or social/emotional behavior disabilities
- Work individually with students to address their specific needs
- Implement Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Experience working with special education students preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
