About the role

Para Educator works under the direction of a special education teacher in a variety of school settings. Para Educator may also provide support to students with intensive challenges (behavior, communication, social skills) in general and special education classrooms.

Requirements

• Written exams for Instructional Assistant, considered for the position

• If you have successfully passed the Instructional Assistant General Education and Special Education tests, you do not need to re-test
• An AA degree can be used in lieu of testing
• Two recent written letters of recommendation are required
