- Successfully passed the Instructional Assistant General Education and Special Education Tests.
- AA degree can be used in lieu of testing.
- Two recent written letters of recommendation are required.

HOURS
30 hours per week (M - F).

Responsibilities
Para Educator works under the direction of a special education teacher in a variety of school settings.
Para Educator may also provide support to students with intensive challenges (behavior, communication, social skills) in general and special education classrooms.
Experience working with autistic students preferred.
