Requirements

• AA degree can be used in lieu of testing
• Two recent written letters of recommendation (scan and attach to application)
• If you have successfully passed the Instructional Assistant General Education and Special Education tests, you do not need to re-test
• Experience working with autistic students preferred

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a special education teacher in a variety of school settings
• Provide support to students with intensive challenges (behavior, communication, social skills) in general and special education classrooms

Schedule

32.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Hours to be determined.
