Responsibilities
- Panel Coordinator: Supports the Care Team by coordinating care for patients on the daily schedule and supporting services that require advanced administrative skills and knowledge.
- Panel Coordinator: Focuses on health maintenance and patients with serious, complex, or chronic health problems or psychosocial issues.
- Panel Coordinator: Works within the context of a primary care medical home, promoting timely access to needed care, comprehension and continuity of care, and enhancing patient well-being.
- Medical Assistant I: Assists with patient care, maintains department/clinic efficiency, and performs other duties as assigned.
- Medical Assistant I: Participates in daily operations under the supervision or management of a physician.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a medical assistant program or successful completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
- Experience: One-year experience, preferred.
- Skills: EKG skills, phlebotomy, basic lab skills, medication administration, clinical and administrative procedures within scope of practice for medical assistants, basic medical terminology, good film quality, accuracy, proficiency in electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, effective interpersonal relationships, communication, active listening, service-oriented, ability to adapt to changing workload and pace, ability to maintain favorable patient and guest relations, ability to work effectively in a team, ability to work independently and proactively, problem-solving skills, organizational and time management skills.
- Licensure: Washington and Oregon current American Heart Association approved CPR certification required. MA certification required upon hire, or within one year of hire, from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA. Washington State certification as a Medical Assistant-Certified or Interim Medical Assistant-Certified required, including completion of required Washington State AIDS training.
Pay Range
USD $23.43 - USD $33.50 /Hr.
