Responsibilities
- Aid in patient care under the supervision of physicians.
- Prepare patients for visits and procedures.
- Perform various patient care tasks including vaccine and medication administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
- Communicate with patients via phone or electronic health records, addressing questions, processing refills, and scheduling appointments.
- Utilize electronic health records for efficient care coordination.
Qualifications
- One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant preferred.
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
- Completion of Basic or Advanced Oregon Emergency Medical Technician program (Oregon only).
- Licensure: MA certification required within one year, from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA.
- Oregon only: Current BLS for Providers from the American Heart Association.

Pay
Pay Range: USD $23.93 - USD $33.50 /Hr.
