Painter| Part-time| Skilled Nusing facility

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our maintenance team at a skilled nursing facility. The role involves maintaining and improving the appearance of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces while following all safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and general surface preparation.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming as needed.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other facility areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Protect furniture, flooring, equipment, and resident belongings during work.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair issues discovered during painting projects.
• Follow all OSHA, infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
• Work respectfully and professionally around residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently and with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous professional painting experience required.
• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, hospital, apartment, hotel, or commercial facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents and staff.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and use painting equipment and supplies.
