Painter II (2nd Shift)

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. This is an onsite, 2nd shift position located in Jamestown, ND.

Responsibilities

• Prime and final-paint detail parts and final assemblies to current specification requirements
• Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, and ensure paint control
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
• Mix paint to specified viscosity
• Clean, assemble, and adjust spray guns and equipment
• Wash, wipe, and sand parts when necessary
• Mask and prep parts for paint as required
• Cure parts after topcoat application
• Operate chart recorders

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the U.S.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email)
• Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders
• Ability to interpret blueprints
