Painter 2 (2nd Shift)

Job Summary

Skills & Abilities

• Mix and measure paint per specifications
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match
• Clean parts as per specification
• Paint part according to specification and thickness
• Change paint booth filters, keep booth FOD free, and complete paperwork
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals
• Apply some advanced skills to adapt and meet complex or non-routine situations
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations
• Complete the paint daily checklist
• Properly utilize all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines
• Maintain all paint equipment

Work Environment

• The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.
• Work is performed in shop conditions and can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
