Responsibilities

• Apply protective and decorative coats (paint, varnish, lacquer) to all interior and exterior surfaces and property.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, and sanding; maintain existing paint through matching and tinting.
• Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, vinyl wall coverings, and ceiling acoustic texturing.
• Operate and maintain painting and power equipment, including compressors, spray equipment, sandblasters, and heavy lift equipment (scissors/boom stage up to 80 feet).
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials following Standard Precautions using required personal protective equipment.
• Erect scaffolding and staging as necessary to reach work surfaces.
• Create and apply graphics/signage layouts to comply with DOT, Safety, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
• Communicate with personnel on work order status and procedures for decision-making and compliance.
• Support Special Projects, participate in assigned meetings, workshops, and training, and complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of trade school preferred.
• 1+ year relevant experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education or experience accepted.
