Painter I - 2nd Shift

Pay: $25.35/hour

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Load, transfer, and unload parts on and/or from the paint line.
• Process each part by hanging/racking for paint application.
• Inspect quality of parts before and after the finishing process.
• Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy, including wearing required personal protective equipment, maintaining proper work habits, and performing housekeeping duties.
• Work in a constantly high-heat environment.
• Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off.
• Maintain proper counts and report all scrap.
• Perform stock handling duties as required.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with powder paint systems.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
