Painter

About the Role

You will provide residential or commercial repairs, focusing primarily on painting as the final step in the restoration process after a property has been affected by disaster. All paint, supplies, equipment, vehicle, and project direction are company-provided. In addition to painting, duties may include installing walls, flooring, ceilings, trim, and finish work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble scaffolding as required
• Cover trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths, and protective coverings
• Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes and cracks with putty, and sanding until smooth
• Apply primer and sealers to ensure paint adhesion
• Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications
• Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Maintain inventory of supplies (brushes, rollers, tarps, etc.)
• Clean machines, equipment, and work areas using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids
• Review and implement work orders and assignments
• Remove and reinstall fixtures (e.g., doorknobs, electric switch covers) as needed
• Follow all safeguards, rules, and regulations

Pay

Starting wage: $22.00 per hour with overtime pay at time and a half for hours over 40.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Friday work may be scheduled based on customer demand. Weekly pay period with PTO accrual and holiday pay.
