About the role

The Painter is responsible for all phases of commercial painting and finish work for walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial painting and finish work on walls, equipment, buildings, and structural surfaces.
• Apply interior design, painting, power washing, wallpaper installation and removal techniques.
• Assist with furniture moves, cleaning of vents, and other Environmental Service needs as cross‑trained.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Virginia or North Carolina driver’s license in good standing (no excessive points).
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Pay

The base pay range for full‑time employment is $28.66 – $44.66 per hour, with additional compensation possible for shift differentials,
