About the role

Our Painters prepare and paint heavy equipment, engines, vehicles, trailers, various components, and attachments. Painters are responsible for housekeeping (5S) and properly maintaining company-issued tooling and equipment while following strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint heavy equipment, engines, vehicles, trailers, various components, and attachments in the paint booth area.
• Maintain 5S, company-issued tools, and equipment.
• Drive machines to be painted into the paint booth/area.
• Perform body repairs as necessary.
• Order and track paint and paint supplies.
• Follow strict safety protocols, using proper PPE such as masks, full paint suits, or respirators.
• Complete all required reporting and service reports.

Requirements

• Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years or more of paint and bodywork experience.
• A strong knowledge of paint application and methods.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.

Skills

• Applies initiative, demonstrating a “self-starting” ability to manage daily work and proactively make improvements to the work process.
• Takes personal responsibility for work assignments, keeps commitments, and follows through on requests.
