Schedule

Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepares product prior to paint application.
• Makes adjustments to machinery as needed to maintain quality and production.
• Checks all parts of the paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replaces as needed.
• Troubleshoots common recurring problems without assistance.
• Performs required maintenance on paint equipment.
• Handles paint, paint-related materials, and hazardous wastes properly.
• Sets up equipment and paints in the paint booth.
• Makes adjustments to ensure quality, defect-free paint application.
• Paints and coats through manual spraying, ensuring quality.
• Prepares and hangs aluminum extrusion and clips for powder-coat painting.
• Completes required paint cell documentation.
• Visually inspects and reports defects.

Desired Experience

• Working knowledge of the powder coat process.
• Working knowledge of powder paint booths.
• Ability to change over color modules for paint booths.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge and experience with machinery in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Preferred: Experience with LEAN manufacturing, 6S, or Six Sigma.
• Preferred: Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day at the assigned work area.
