Job Summary

The Paint Repair Technician I position at Crystal Cabinet Works is responsible for making a wide variety of repairs on cabinet components and moving product to the next processing stage.

Job Duties

  • Receives product to be repaired and prioritizes workload by scheduled shipping date.
  • Reviews construction orders/paperwork and prioritizes work.
  • Repairs scratches, gouges and defects on cabinet components, parts, trim by sanding, spraying, staining, highlighting, gluing, spatting, color matching, fogging, etc.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
  • Collaborates with others to replace parts that cannot be repaired.
  • Performs specialty finishing, burnishing, wearing, rub through, spatting, worm holes, and distressing.

Pay

Salary Grade D $20.20 - $24.40 Additional $1.00 Paint Pay

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00AM - 3:15PM ; Friday & Saturday OT as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in cabinet repair or similar field. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Must be able to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
