About the role

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Expertise in pain management
• ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license

Teaching responsibilities

• Instruction of medical students and residents rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC)
• Participation in the didactic series of the department

Clinical responsibilities

• Provision of pain management and clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC
