Pain Management Specialist Physician
About the role
The ideal candidate will focus on diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders using a multidisciplinary approach. This role emphasizes functional restoration, rehabilitation, and non-surgical pain relief strategies to improve patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized pain management plans, incorporating physical therapy, rehabilitation programs, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referral for interventional procedures when indicated.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients on pain management strategies, posture correction, exercise regimens, and ergonomic modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay informed on advancements in pain management and rehabilitation medicine to continuously enhance patient care.
Practice setup
Hospital based pain management practice. Will join Interventional pain physician. Hours/Schedule/EMR - 8-4:30pm Call - No call Patient volume - Clinic 8am-12:00pm, 1pm-4:00pm (30 and 15 minute slots, so patient volume can vary based on visit type)

Experience
- Residency and board certification must be in area of specialty.
- Board eligible physicians will be considered. Certification must be obtained within 4 years of eligibility.
