About the role

The Paid Social Specialist role will play an important role in the day-to-day strategy and execution of our media investment, focused on delivering revenue growth for DTC. This is a performance-based role, where you will be tasked with finding where to spend the next best dollar and proving out efficiency through sound measurement principles. Experience media-buying directly on social platforms is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads on day-to-day activation, optimization, and performance in-platform and with agency against DTC category revenue and forecast
  • Supports the paid social strategy within each brand, customizing based on the category’s full funnel activation and DTC revenue needs
  • Aids in paid social investment growth by identifying new opportunities, proving revenue efficiency, and advocating for the channel
  • Responsible for brand and category reporting on a weekly basis and as ad hoc deliverables are requested, sharing cross-functionally on a regular cadence
  • Pairs with creative teams to produce high-impact, platform-specific content that drives revenue efficiently
  • End-to-end creative process management such as briefing, feedback, legal approvals, trafficking, and reporting
  • Collaborates closely with DTC teams on promotional periods, SKU assortment, and site changes
  • Works and communicates closely with Manager on day-to-day deliverables
  • Maintains awareness of competitor channel activity, spend, and creative to inform our strategy
  • QA'ing agency work, ensuring accuracy and excellence in execution

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of prior paid social buying directly in platform, brand- or agency-side, Meta and TikTok experience preferred
  • E-commerce or B2C experience media experience preferred
  • Foundational experience with data manipulation in Excel and data dashboards
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Foundational understanding of the performance media landscape and total marketing mix
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of styles and personalities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes and manages multiple deliverables
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team and as a self-starter, owning a task from start to finish
