About the Role

Aquent is partnering with a global leader in consumer technology to find a dynamic and results-driven Paid Search Specialist. This contract role offers the opportunity to optimize digital advertising strategies for a globally recognized brand, directly influencing the success of high-profile retail campaigns. Your expertise will contribute to maximizing ROI and reaching millions of customers through cutting-edge paid search techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, optimize, and manage paid search campaigns (Search, Shopping, PMax) from keyword research to bid strategy.
  • Monitor daily performance and provide optimization recommendations (bids, budgets, negative keywords, ad copy testing, audience targeting).
  • Compile weekly/monthly reporting, including data analysis and translating performance into actionable insights.
  • Suggest and implement A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing across multiple accounts.
  • Support lead strategists with business rhythm tasks (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, post-launch analysis).
  • Stay updated on paid search platform changes, betas, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with Microsoft/Bing Ads as needed.
  • Ensure tracking/tagging accuracy in partnership with analytics (UTM conventions, conversion tracking, GA4).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience, preferably in an agency setting (client management, multi-account handling, reporting cadence).
  • Deep expertise in paid search platforms: Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Experience with Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with bid management/automation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple country accounts/lines of business simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing reporting.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Paid Search certifications strongly preferred (Google Analytics GA4, Paid Search Shopping Ads, etc.).

Skills

  • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fluid, demanding environment.
  • Nice-to-have: Paid social platform experience (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok Ads), data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau), and Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
