About the role

SERVPRO is the leader in the restoration industry across North America. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who want a path to succeed, grow, and learn a trade that will lead to a prosperous career. We aim to interview 15-20 individuals and hire 5-6 apprentices for an intense, hands-on apprenticeship program starting within the next 6 weeks. This program is designed to develop industry leaders and offers a clear career progression.

This paid, fast-paced apprenticeship can lead to a $40-60k annual income in just 180 days. We seek individuals comfortable with challenges, adept at multitasking, and with excellent communication skills.

Compensation

• Phase I: $18.00/hr – Approx. 4-8 weeks of hands-on learning in the field, working on-call after hours with a crew chief.
• Phase II: $20-22/hr – Lead technician role, capable of discussing required forms and paperwork with customers. Expected within 2-4 months of employment.
• Phase III: $22-24/hr – Fully functioning Crew Chief, able to explain the restoration process, sign jobs, run a crew, and ensure customer satisfaction. Expected within 4-8 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas and equipment for work activities.
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per Crew Chief directions.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with Crew Chief and other Technicians, especially regarding customer needs and concerns.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave the job site clean and orderly.
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling.

Requirements

• Possess a current and valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
