Paid Media Specialist

About the role

The Paid Media Specialist will own the technical and strategic backbone of Atom's paid advertising operations. This role requires strong technical fluency across various platforms, hands-on experience with structured A/B testing, and a high ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, and emerging AI/chat ad platforms
• Build and troubleshoot event tracking and conversion setups across all channels
• Conduct technical audits to catch tracking issues, attribution gaps, and setup errors before they affect performance
• Design and execute structured A/B tests across creative, audience, and campaign structure
• Manage remarketing and audience targeting strategy
• Own reporting and performance analysis, and turn findings into clear optimization actions
• Partner with the creative team to test new formats and messaging
• Stay ahead of new paid channels, including AI-driven platforms, and evaluate them for testing
• Use AI tools to work more efficiently across campaign execution and analysis

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 4-6 years of experience in paid media, paid social, or performance advertising. Strong technical fluency is essential, including platform setup, pixel/event tracking, and analytics implementation. Hands-on experience with structured A/B testing is required, along with strong analytical skills and fluency in GA4 or similar analytics tools. A high ownership mindset is also crucial, as this role involves running paid media operations independently.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across a broad and evolving set of ad platforms, including newer and less mature channels like ChatGPT. Experience in a startup environment is a plus, as this role offers direct collaboration with founders and leadership on marketing strategy.

Skills

Experience with AI tools in daily workflow is a bonus, as this role involves staying ahead of new ad channels and evaluating them for testing.
