About the role
The Paid Media Fellow will support the Paid Media team, working on a variety of projects across different industries. The role can be based in Chicago, New York, or Washington D.C.
What You'll Do
- Develop strategy and tactics to address client public affairs needs through paid and organic social & digital media
- Create, manage, and optimize social and digital media campaigns using Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn/Pinterest/Snapchat/Google advertising platforms
- Conduct keyword and demographic research to inform targeting strategies within contextual advertising campaigns
- Use analytics tools like Google Analytics, Crimson Hexagon, Meltwater, and Simply Measured to create dashboards, reports, and other documents to update internal staff and clients on campaign results
- Work with the team of in-house designers, developers, and videographers to develop ads that compel people to take action
Requirements
- Experience in all areas of digital marketing and social media advertising
- Bachelor's degree with a background or education in digital marketing, social media advertising, and digital analytics
- Demonstrable aptitude and passion for digital marketing and/or digital political campaigning
- Knowledge of and experience with advertising interfaces on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google AdWords, etc.
- Knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, and other website tools in the Google suite
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Schedule
The Fellow Program typically runs for 8-12 months with the possibility to extend beyond the initial timeframe. Trainees may be eligible for promotion depending on the quality of their work and department availability.
