Paid Apprentice/ Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee

About the role

Lucid Hearing is seeking a Full-time Paid Apprentice/ Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee. This position offers full-time training and licensing to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, along with paid on-the-job training, increase in earning potential, growth opportunities, and various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer a free hearing screen
• Learn about the ear anatomy
• Attend virtual training for 6 weeks to prepare for the state hearing instrument dispensing exam
• Gain hands-on practical experience with a Lucid Associate, who is a licensed Hearing Instrument Dispenser or a licensed Audiologist
• Make follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction with their assistive listening and hearing devices

Requirements

• Motivated sales candidate willing to commit to a long-term career with Lucid
• Ability to relocate within the state after obtaining a dispensing license
• Passionate about helping people hear better
• Previous sales or customer service experience
• A desire for a career rather than just a job
• An entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving skills
• Excellent follow-up skills

Pay

$20-$22/hour during on-the-job training, with potential for a $50,000 salary upon obtaining a dispensing license.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate training and on-the-job experience.
