Paediatric Dietician, Band 5/6
About the role
The Post Title is Paediatric Dietician, Band 5/6. It is a Full-time position offering 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Managing a specialist paediatric diabetes caseload
- Providing inpatient dietetic support within the Highland Children’s Unit
- Delivering outpatient clinics, including infant feeding allergy services
- Supporting children, young people and their families to achieve the best possible health outcomes
Requirements
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian with either:
- Pediatric experience
- Newly qualified graduates
Qualifications
Qualified dietitians (HCPC registered or soon-to-be registered) are welcome to apply. Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, and team players keen to develop specialist paediatric skills are also encouraged to apply.

Comprehensive training and structured support will be provided to help you develop in the role. Newly qualified dietitians will start at Band 5, with progression to Band 6 within 1–2 years on completion of competencies.

Band 5: £34,494 – £42,977 p.a.
Band 6: £43,169 – £52,603 p.a.
