About the role
The Pediatric Dietitian provides evidence-based nutrition care to patients/families using practice skills which satisfy the needs/concerns of assigned patients. The PD can formulate and implement an individualized nutrition care plan using current medical nutrition therapy (MNT). The PD contributes to nutrition care decisions that lead to positive outcomes and is an effective educator.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement an individualized nutrition care plan using current medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
- Contribute to nutrition care decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
- Be an effective educator.
- Address routine problems in the work environment by providing assistance or referring these to other, more experienced team members.
- Prioritize workload, deliver nutrition care to assigned patients, and discuss/assist/advocate for the nutritional care needs of the patient/family.
- Manage daily workload, identify routine problems in the work area, and solve problems with advice/assistance from others.
Requirements
- Master's Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Minimum 5 years of experience
Qualifications
- Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults
- Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Licensed Dietician (LD)

- Ability to manage daily workload

- $38.00 - $38.00 Hourly
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, up to 20 hours per week
