About the role
The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient and family-centered care. This role has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in acute care required.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Unit-specific certifications required upon hire:
- ED: ACLS
- ICU: ACLS
- PEDI: ACLS & PALS
- Med/Surg Units: BLS and/or ACLS
- Education: Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience cannot substitute for the degree requirement.
Skills
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. Must be able to work in conditions with moderate noise and in an environment subject to bloodborne pathogen risk and hazardous waste.

Pay
Pay Range: $47.12 - $113.63/hour (Grade RN1495). Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors. Total compensation includes competitive base pay, comprehensive benefits, career advancement opportunities, differentials, premiums, bonuses, and recognition programs.
