About the Role
Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Monitor airway and hemodynamics
- Manage pain and nausea
- Ensure safe recovery for discharge or transfer
- Document care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative teams
- Adhere to safety and infection-control protocols
Requirements
- Active nursing license
- PACU or perioperative experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to following safety standards
