Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state-of-the-art facility will produce high-quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

What you'll do...

  • Supports production operations by setting up workstations with required products and packaging materials.
  • Rotates through tasks such as operating bagger and debagger stations, setting up and operating label machines while monitoring barcoding systems, overseeing tray packaging machines, completing changeovers safely and efficiently.
  • Visually monitors conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
  • Oversees tray pack machines and completes changeovers safely and efficiently.
  • Performs quality inspections and verifies sample compliance with specifications.
  • Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and quality system requirements.
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains communication with departments, management, and associates, and promptly reports any issues or concerns that could hinder production efficiency.
  • Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to management.
  • Applies a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Records production and/or quality data.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

  • The hourly wage range for this position is $21.90 - $27.40*
  • *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
