This position is in our Food Enterprise, serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with innovative ingredients and branded products, including poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate.

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging equipment
  • Monitor bag weights on scale
  • Input performance data in computer system and production downtime information into SAP
  • Collect samples and perform quality testing
  • Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Handle housekeeping tasks
  • Repalletize and dispose of distressed product
  • Perform changeover tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Minimum age of 18 years to work in a production facility
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Prote Equipment (PPE), which may include exposure to heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
  • Must be able to operate machinery
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • A valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in production-related work
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Able to operate heavy equipment

Pay

$20.98 per hour
